Spare Glowforge names

I really love Glowsephine! I might use that on my second unit  Then the third unit will be Daphne !! Wow did I just get ahead of myself - I haven’t even got a tracking number for the real unit…

Since my studio is Polynesian themed - and my GF stand is a repurposed tiki bar I am calling mine Pele!

I wasn’t paying attention when I named my forge, are there restrictions on length, characters, spaces?

I always loved the ship names from Iain Banks’ Culture series:

I don’t know!

Well, it’s yours this week! You never cease to amaze with the breadth of knowledge, somewhat of a nerds nerd.

And yes, that is in my top ten movies and my single favorite scene.

That’s what they have always said but sometimes I think things like that are said just to guild the lily.

Edit: and how’d I know that you’d be one to get this reference?

It does seem a ‘little too perfect’. But i am a long time Rutger Hauer fan so i am happy to give him credit!

I seem to be getting that a lot from you!

If you are going with aviation references BEDE would be a lot more accurate.

Dan must have been reading my mind. This naming issue has been vexing me. I can’t think of anything I love enough. So the ideas are welcome.

I was thinking of calling mine Heart of Gold since I imagine that it’s driven by an infinite improbability drive.

@dan What do you call yours (assuming you have a personal one)?
