Thats what I named mine!
True… was just caught on who his actual name worked by itself!
My last name is La Forge. When I learned yesterday we had to name them, I said to my husband “I can’t think of a cool name”. He looked at me stunned. He said “La Forge” in a tone that said DUH. I looked at him puzzled for a moment wondering why my last name would be funny… just cause it’s MINE? OH, NO… cause la forge… BUAHAHAHAHHA
He said he saw the moment the light came on.

I’ve finally settled on Laserus Long, for Lazarus Long, the main character of Robert Heinlein’s Time Enough for Love.
I was also considering April Glow’Leary. In the Toby Day series by Seanan McGuire, April O’Leary is a dryad reincarnated as an artificial intelligence living in a computer and creating things from light and magic. (Minor spoiler blurred).
