As an R/C aircraft builder, I’ve used 3M “Blenderm” medical tape for making hinges for years. Works a treat and is durable as all get out. We also use hot glue as a hinge material for aircraft made out of foam, foamcore, Depron, etc.

I make the hinges with magic scotch (the purple one). I’m gonna try this one.

I had to search this and then immediately realized this is the clear tape that, when removed from your skin, acts like the best hair waxing money can buy!

That’s the stuff! Sold (at an outrageous markup) by Du-Bro and other RC suppliers as “Hinge Tape,” AKA “mechanical dermatitis on a roll.”
