Nice! Bernina’s are great machines! I like how you used the underside of the leather for the etching on the top & the brim–was that because the top side didn’t etch well, or just for a fun contrast/design option?

Oh, happy “mistakes” can turn into great design choices Very familiar with those, too.

And yes, light colored leathers can often have the best results for etching!
(though I have many sources B&M store or on-line I’ll use before Tandy–apart from tools!).
