Stikwood?

Has anyone tried Stikwood in a laser? It’s 0.15" thick “peel and stick” reclaimed wood in a variety of finishes.

Obviously it would have a lot of the same issues as any other reclaimed/unclear provenance woods, but specific successes/failures would be interesting to hear about, especially cutting the adhesive.

I have some Stikwood but no glowforge to Stik it in to try it out. It’s pretty pricy for thin wood, but they do have sales a couple times a year. I could be wrong, but I want to say I bought when they had a 40% off code. They recently had a few 50% off sales on their sample packs. If anyone wants to try Stikwood in their Glowforge, I’d suggest waiting for another sale. Sign up for their emails to get notified of the next sale.

Resurrecting this thread because Stikwood is having a 50% off sale on their sample packs. 7 pieces for $9, or 14 pieces for $12. You can mix and match whatever samples you want.
