Suede projects done and half done

Another weekend of glowforging and sewing. I had a lot of remnants and so I made myself a suede swimsuit and then glowforged that, and then made my nephew a outfit because he will soon be a big brother:

I then used the bodice glowforge blocks (which have really been amazing) and have 3 parallel designs. I have not finished them because after I glowforged the suede, I am rethinking my original design plan.

I designed this sunflower base dress to have a black lace top and tassel trim but after I finished glowforing the sunflowers, I am debating a more cream based color. Who knows there this will go.

^^^ The thing is that I designed this top to go with a more “birds of a pray” type design.

Everybody needs a suede swimsuit!

The sunflower pieces are amazing. I like both of those alternatives so much that I wouldn’t be able to choose. So you’ll just have to do them both.

That was my first time at trying a kids pattern and I loved it. I have a few others I am going to make as well  Little brother is due at the start of January and so he will have something cute to match.

You are such an awesome designer! Love all the stuff you make!

Suede? I’m curious as to when you would wear it. It looks like shorts with suspenders(?)

And I bet you could make some killer lederhosen with engraved designs.

Well it technically is scuba suede. So it suede with a neoprene interfacing. It handles really well with everything.
