In case anyone was wondering, sugar sheets work well in the glowforge (see decorations on cake). I used card stock for the cake topper. I made this cake for my sister’s baby shower. I removed the sheets before we served the cake since the sheets did not taste good even before laser cutting, . I used a similar setting for the card stock and sugar sheets but adjusted the power a little lower and turned off the glowforge fan to prevent all the pieces from blowing everywhere.

Just went down the Wilton sugar sheet rabbit hole. What will they think of next?? These would have made my kids’ cakes look so much better. I never got much past spelling out the number of years in M&M’s.
