Summer Camp files

I have been getting the Summer Camp project emails and downloading the zip files. However when I open the zips there are no *.SVG files just PDF files. Am I missing something? How can I cut out these projects?

PDF works just as well as SVG.

Pdfs can be loaded to the Glowforge just like an svg.

Likewise inkscape (and others) can open PDFs and you can modify/save them out as svgs.

I tried printing the pdf but it only scored the lines, did not cut out the parts.
Yes I am brand new to this, just got the Glowforge last week.

Change the settings in the UI.

There is nothing wrong with the file.

You need to go through the first few tutorials. It will help you learn the basics that you will need to be successful.
