It’s interesting that everyone doing handwriting work seems to use the same dataset. I’m waiting for a self-training system like they’ve created for video motion capture!
Yes, this!! There’s been so many times I’ve been tasked with “make multiple copies of documents that look handwritten by xyz person” and the only thing one can do that doesn’t look computery is do it manually.

[edit] Well, I can’t run a job, but I can upload one to the UI, and at first glance it doesn’t look promising. The “strokes” appear to be filled shapes.
