Tangled Snakes Puzzle (w/free SVG)

Another puzzle for you!


Assembly of the puzzle pieces is a bit trickier than in previous puzzles I’ve posted, here’s how I did it:

Small dabs of glue (I used a needle bottle):

Roughly place the square “bumps”:

Use a known 90° corner to align everything, by shoving the S-shaped piece and the “bump” up against the corner:

Repeat for all the bumps. Note the specific corners you are putting the bumps on, they need to all be the same, no mirror images:

And that’s it! I might recommend using 1/4" material (plywood or acrylic – I think hardwoods would be too likely to crack) if you have it around. The finished puzzle is very small in 1/8” material:

This one is surprisingly tricky… You go in thinking “Ah only 4 pieces, I got this”, but if you’re like me you did not got this.
