I redrew and put my twist on some of the artwork from the Rider and Waite Tarot deck to make some fun earrings…Really happy with how they came out

Is this proofgrade acrylic? It seems like the engrave/score is a bit lighter than usual, maybe it’s non PG extruded acrylic?

The maroon colored ones are not proofgrade, they are from a supplier I order most of my acrylic from. The clear I believe was PG acrylic, but its possible it wasn’t.

Cast vs Extruded Acrylic in Edge Lit Signs

I have an idea for a cheshire cat sign using the different properties of cast vs extruded acrylic. Per the examples that have been shown, one does not show etching very well under normal light. My thought is to make layers with the grin on one material and the cat on another. The grin will always show up, but the cat won’t unless lit, and then program the controller to dim the LEDs to off to make the cat fade away, leaving the grin. Any input on this? fun earrings

I really like the clear for some earring art. It sparkles in the right light.
I set the pins so the smooth face is forward. Not important but seems like that side views better.
