Teacher's Day Gift

While cruising Pinterest one day I came across a Teacher’s Day gift idea. Problem is that it was papercraft and I stink at papercraft.

So, I decided to translate it into heavy cardstock and 1/8" plywood. Most importantly, I wanted the message to be replaceable, so I added my beloved magnets to the project.

I also created a Word document to easily create alternative messages. Pretty happy with how it came out. Now I’m prepared for the next Teacher’s Day event.

That’s adorable!!

To replace the message do they slide in a piece of black paper with it written in white, or something else?

To replace the message, they remove the magnetically-attached back, pop out the existing message and place a new one in the clipped-corner ‘window’. I created a Word document that formats the text correctly and has a white perimeter so you know where to cut it.
