This is really cool. What are the rough dimensions of your finished model?

Thanks! Its about 11" tall, the base is 4" in diameter. I made a similar tower that is 15" tall, but only has three sides.

Love it! Tesla is one of my idols!

You designed this in AI??? Amazing. I just can’t picture designing 3D projects in AI yet at all.

Thanks! This was my first AI project. I just started using it a week or so ago. But I have quite a bit of Photoshop and fusion 360 experience, so that probably helped. I’m really loving Adobe illustrator!

Interesting! I guessed you did it in Fusion 360. I have stopped and started learning Fusion several times but still haven’t gotten the hang of it yet. Surprisingly, to me, it is the orientation and sketching that seems to confuse me the most.

I hear you… Despite using it quite a lot for 3D printed projects, I still find F360 very frustrating at times.

It’s funny how different brains are wired. I can’t wrap my head around how to draw anything in 2D but I’m pretty decent with Fusion 360.
