Texas Escutcheon

Yeah - was an oops. I read San Antonio as Austin for some reason :slightly_smiling_face:

I saw he’s trying to get to open next month. Going back to running smokers without a roof until he can get stuff rebuilt.

I also saw he’s still paying everyone even though he’s shutdown. That’s a class act.

I didn’t mention that because it was covered above. I was getting at your measurements were very close.

I did mine over six weeks ago.

Okay gotcha. (I read these out of order and missed the earlier part.)

I used 1.59 inches (40.375 mm) and it’s tight. It fits, but you have to force it on. Makes it tough to pull off.

Gives you a little faith in humanity.

One of our cafes in town had a bad fire not too long ago. Our regional grocery store, H-E-B, hired every single one of their employees.

Still some good in the world if you can tune out the noise.

I measured my production basic unit ring at 40.38-39mm consistently. 40.4mm gives you one that you don’t have to fight to put on, but fits snugly.

40.39 here as well.

Finally got around to redoing the circle. Looks real good when lit up.
