I made this at one of my sons’ request. It’s my second sign type thingie. It’s 12" x 10", 3D engraved on basswood ply. Should I use polyurethane spray on it?

The cornucopia looks really blurry in the photo but it isn’t.
It wouldn’t hurt a thing. Sealing it from the atmospheric moisture changes would just protect it.

Sealing also tends to make the engrave a tad darker, which is usually a good thing,
