So does anyone ever just drop some extra laser projects on a garage sale? lol. It’s our community garage sales this week so I figured I’d just put some designs out for people to get to free up the house of some space.

I thought this was going to be a warning about ignoring the Internet for the first few days of April. 
We have been meaning to have a garage sale for about 8 years and haven’t gotten around to it yet. I’m not sure I have any laser projects to put out, but if someone needs a VGA cable…

Can you actually get enough from a garage sale price to even cover your material cost? That has always been why I have never tried to sell anything, even not at a garage sale. I made my mom one of the cool lamps from the catalog…If I remember correctly, it cost me over $100 just for the GF material.

I have a lot of stuff left over from when I was selling in the shop downtown, and stuff I’ve made for testing. If we ever did have a garage sale, yes, it would all go into it. Even if I never recouped the money for the materials, it’s not doing me any good just having it all tucked in large totes underneath the stairs, and it’s mostly stuff I’ll never use myself. The things I do want, I’m already using. So to me, yeah, if you’re having a garage sale, might as well. And who knows, it may bring you more customers (if you wanted).

And our kids will just toss the stuff when we’re gone. Better they go to someone who wants them.
