Lost Art Press has made six fairly well-known books by Christopher Schwarz available for free as downloadable ebook editions, including The Anarchist’s Tool Chest, The Anarchist’s Design Book, The Anarchist’s Workbench, The Art of Joinery, Roman Workbenches and, The Stick Chair Book. Though ostensibly about furniture making, I am told they include quite a bit of philosophy applicable to making in general, as well as general techniques. I thought they might be of some interest here.
