The Bookcase

Wow, look at all the pieces -

Just think of it as a (Insert Brick Company) kit.

And let’s get to it.

Feet in Place, but these Planks are long. Best to get some help.

Would you be so kind as to give me a hand?

‘Of course, be right down!’

This one goes on the back.

And this one on the front.

Looks like a good sturdy base.

Next , the gold side supports.

Nicely done!

Shelves in next.

Just like Bricks!

Let’s move it inside before putting on the top. I’ll remove the door.

That’s easier. Let’s go right in the corner.

All that’s left is the top pieces.

This looks great, thanks for the help!

Now I have a place for all these books.

But even more exciting.

A place to organize my potions!

Right where I can find what ails you.

Great work, thanks again!

I wonder what should go on top?

Very enjoyable read. I love all the detail and the moveable joints. Green character’s clothes apprear printed, white character’s clothes look to be cloth. How did you do it?

Greetings -

Thanks so much. The dolls are ‘Wicked’ - a variety of Barbie, I believe. They fit the character of the aesthetic I was going for on the building. Although I may have violated some folklore between the (actual) characters in my ‘plot’. I did zero research on them.

I’ll be writing up the construction of the larger building this weekend. I didn’t document it all that well, as I don’t expect anyone to try building one. But I give out the files, and some guidelines, in case someone is daring enough.

To be fair, I did use the Glowforge to cut out the acrylic windows on the building. All 14 of them!
