Chuckle! No that’s a real thing. Works great for plants that you have to hand pollinate because you have them under a mosquito net to keep squash vine borers out. (Which does not work, BTW. The damned moths still get in. Can’t figure out how. Maybe little moth-sized box cutters.)
The vibration of the electric toothbrush mimics the vibration of the bees wings - just pick up a little pollen on the brush and go to town. (Male and female flowers on squash plants.)
I guess you could also add in some engraved drainage lines as well:

Nice! I had a similar idea here. I have some basil plants that grew too close together and compete for sunlight. I’ve been using cardboard circles with slots in them to separate the stalks. Laser would be better!
