GlowForge is already changing lasers elsewhere: Someone used a WiiMote to emulate the GlowForge camera

Their laser moves the entire cutting table for Z height adjustments, so it is far from glorious, but hey… GlowForge hasn’t even shipped yet and people are already copying the thing. That is a mark of success in my book.

Like I said, I can’t wait for my Glowforge to arrive. I purchased on day 1 as soon as I woke up :slight_smile:
There are a lot of nice features that we can’t wait to play with.

I’m already working on a revision of that too, something that is actually practical.
