No, C02 lasers are not of the right wavelength for that, you can mark metal though.
And as you progress, you can always use it to make a templet to cut with something else.

You absolutely can do your own. With a tool that can graduate accurately by thousandths, there is not another tool better for either solid or pocket inlay projects.

I cannot see the image of the desk you built…can you re-load it?

I figured it would be easier to just send you a few pics of the desk. It looks like a table but there are actually drawers in the front. Now my GF sits right behind it:>) I’m building a matching chair in the next few months.
