It’s been a while since I posted here! This is the latest interactive device I built for the Spark Museum of Electrical Invention. It contains 6 pie-shaped bins that can be filled with some combination of tricks or treats (some bins will have candy, others will have cold pasta, for example). When it is turned on, the red light comes on and the bins are randomized.. only one of the six will be accessible through the portal. After a few seconds the randomization is complete, the motor stops and the green light comes on. At that point the user can reach into the portal and retrieve their “prize”. When they remove their hand the cycle repeats.
The box is 13” square. Construction was a combination of glowforge and 3d printing. Brain is Arduino nano.
