This is my first time sharing a file. I hope I did it right. I needed to make a switch cover as the plastic one was cracked. I love how it turned out.
I included a spacer I use so the wood is not resting on the switch.
Very nice design. Thanks for sharing.
Nice work. Well done. I can’t believe I’ve had a Glowforge for five years and haven’t made any switch plates. Thanks for the share.
That looks lovely!
I’ve only engraved on purchased switch plates because I decided for some reason that the non-mitered corner would look wrong, but you’ve proven it looks great
Very nice! And practical!
This is really nice! Thanks for the share.
Nice. And a great idea. I was just thinking the other day that I have an outlet that is missing a cover. Time to get sketching.
Very pretty!
Thank you
Very Nice! That will come in handy for a switch I have needed to get a cover for. Thank you very much!
OK, time to dress up my boring entryway light switches! Thanks for the share.
Looks great! Question though what’s the second box at the bottom for?
It looks amazing! Love the design you used. Thank you for sharing.
@techquest89 The second piece raises the main plate away from the electrical components.
Have any with 1 and 2 light switches?
Welcome to the forum.
I am sure you can make adjustments to the file that has already been generously shared if you wish.
By the way, it is against forum rules to ask for files.
I think it’s the spacer they mentioned to keep it from being flush against the switch
I do need to make some for the house. I will share when I have a matching set.
