So here is my project and i’ve Cut it 2 x and it still didn’t cut. Leather is .163 in. Any ideas for a jump off without charring the dickens out of it?

No help here…I’ve never tried to cut leather that thick. (I have one heck of a time on leather that’s only half that.)
The collar I made was around that thick. I had to test a bit to cut successfully (cleanly). It took 2 passes of, I want to say, 180 speed / 100 power. But I can’t remember exactly - sorry!
