This it’s a 12"x10" stone base for my Wicked Edge Sharpening System. I engraved with my Glowforge Laser. Then rubbed in some acrylic paint and reassembled.

Fabulous finish and amazing design, but confused about what the blue mechanical gadget getting in the way of the design is? Some sort of mechanical sharpener? Sharpening what?
The design looks like it should be on a big tile. That is definitely not a face I would feel comfortable rubbing things into!
I’ve never seen that system before. Just so I understand, the block will sweep forward or backwards along the length of the blade?

and up and down. Note the position of the hones in relation to the heim joint. They pivot on it, and hold it at the set angle, then you slide the hones downward, working progressively down the length of the blade.
