I can’t believe how clean the engraving looks, almost too clean.

It was a good run.

Thanks. I get better engraves like this on the GF than I do with the big Thunder 100w

Fabulous!

It’s it actually 3D or 2D made to look 3D?

Both are cool, but very different techniques!

Very light sand with 120 grit

This is 3D illusion, so it’s almost flat to the touch.

That turned out great! Can you imagine what it would look like painted? But I know that would take a lot of work. Great job!

I can relate! I’ve seen others who do the airbrushing, and I have that setup, but have never used it once in the 6 years I’ve had it! I bought it because I thought it would be great to do my faux stained glass, and I wanted to repaint the metal t-rails in our ceiling downstairs, but it still sits there unused on my craft cart.

Great engraving @jonc, it is so clean and has so much depth.

Did you create this or did you buy the file, because the 3D illusion is fantastic?

Looks great

Thank you. This is originally an STL file for my CNC, I did the conversion to bitmap for the laser.
