Use Blueprint process to print on fabric with a laser

I saw this post the other day: … which is about a process using a UV laser, which the Glowforge is not. It made me wonder, though, if there might be something similar that would react via heat or CO2 laser wavelengths. I have done (non-laser) stuff with dye sublimation heat transfers to polyester and, with heat-set dyes. So, it seems plausible.
