Wally-world strikes again!

I just looked online and they are $6.48/pkg. so looks like my store doesn’t have it on sale yet.

The “honey” app is doing it’s money dance so apparently there is a discount available for Walmart — plus the Samsung Pay has 5% cash back award on “patio & Garden” (would that be the department?)

Good idea on some signs… I love this community! You’re all such enablers… :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Cedar is pretty notoriously difficult to cut or get consistent results out of because it typically has a lot of oils in it.

Keep an eye out for flare up!

Those oils also mean you can get a mean char for engraves

Oooh… so tempted by the Cricut Maker.

How is it?!

I haven’t used cedar cutting boards, but the cedar lumber I have used came out looking pretty good.

I’ve done a bunch of the same planks, but I got them from Lowe’s for a little cheaper.

They were less than the $6.48, sorry. They’re right at $5 at the Lowe’s near us.
I’m sure we’d all LOVE to see some of the things your Mother is making!

You should check out your local home center (Home Depot, Lowes, Menards…). You can buy a 1"x6"x6’ (actual size: 13/16" x 5 1/2" x 6’) cedar board at Menards for $9.59 that would get you 6 small planks for $1.60 each.
