Walnut Map Engrave test

Hi all,

this is my first post on something that I made. Iv’e had a glowforge for a year now and have finally had the time to put in some work and test some things.

This map is made out of 1/2 inch walnut.

Please give me feed back on how i can get better on the placement but also the design.
Attached are pictures of the first test and also the corel file is included for anyone who would like to use it.

Lovely - I like the design in the water as opposed to a plain engrave on all that ocean!

That is neat. I will have to think about some other patterns for the water like you have used. I wonder if you could do something to represent a rough depth map.
