Hi all. It’s been a while since I’ve shared but I was really happy with this one. My niece requested a wedding cake topper in a stained glass style. The glowforge and some gallery glass paint on clear acrylic made it happen.

That came out great.
It is nice they can put on a stand (or in the window) to see whenever they like too. Clever using the separate prongs (?) as a stand.

This is beautiful! Were there two layers cut or just one? Did you paint on clear acrylic or something else? Other than using the appropriate paint, how did you achieve the stained glass look? I love tulips and would love to make one for myself similar to yours. Thank you!

Hey, thanks. IThe frame is 1/8" hardwood and the fill pieces are clear acrylic with paint on the back.

How did you adhere the pieces together? I do a lot of “stained glass” with my students using colored acrylic, and we’ve always struggled to find a good adhesive without smudging the panels. I’ve used Weld-On 4 and superglue at various points, and I’m even experimenting with resin now.
