Wedding Centerpiece

I made this for a friend. Her daughter is getting married later this summer. It was cut from 3/8” cast acrylic.

Thank you. It’s a reworked file out of a bundle I bought a couple of years ago. I just reversed the image and engraved on the back instead of scoring, painting and cutting like I did on a wooden one a while back. I used PG Deep Engrave settings for all engraves, doing different number of passes to get more depth for the Bride and Groom. All text was given a deep scoring first in hopes of getting smoother edges. The final engrave passes were done out of focus as well for the same reason. The text engrave goes about half way through the material.

That turned out really nice! And a great day to get married on (my birthday )!

Really nice. Almost like an optical illusion.

Nice job! Just enough ‘detail’ for the mind to see the metallic gleam of the rings. All that fine detail engraving really paid off, the words are nice and crisp.
