Weilding on gloweforge

Designed this glasses keychain to try the weilding technicque .I hate to glue the acrylic so i tried the weilding . My first test, cut 3 layers of white, color amd clear acrylic keychain . I loved it its like a tight sandwich of layers .

Very cool! Could you share some details on what the “welding technique” is and entails?

Are you talking about Weld-On?

Or literal welding? I’ve never tried anything like this!

the acrylic i use us thin ( the acrylic glowforge send you in the started kit with glowforge machine ) acrylic. There ius learning curve but the end result is a good tight sanwich .
A- the bottom later is white acrylic
B- Middle Layer is color clear
C - Top layer is Clear(little bigger then Aand B for example if you design in illustrator if A& B is 1unit then the C unit will be 1.3ish unit ) rremember to emove protective film from all the layers
1st- cut the A and B making a jig or tape there you place the A nd B The placement is key it has to extact where u cut them
2 nd- palce and protective film on A, B , remove the protective film on the clear acrylic and both side and cut with thick acrylic setting .
