Welcome sign with replaceable O

Morning,

Here is a welcome sign with a replaceable section to do an O in the middle. I drilled a 1.75in hole in the wood, well I used a chisel to make a 1.75" hole. I drilled in the back with a 2in bit and then glued a washer in the back of the hole. The pieces to go into the hole I put a big neodymium magnet inside under the wood and it clips in nicely to the hole. I ended up making the version for an 8 inch board, it includes a seahawks logo, snowflakes, tree, heart, Australian flag and a few other items. Including the 8in svg files on this.

Welcome 8in - 1
Welcome 8in - 2
Welcome 8in - bits 1
Welcome 8in - bits 2
Welcome 8in - bits 3

I made all the SVGs for a 12x12 inch pieces of plywood.

Thanks!
David.

That is really slick. I made a similar kind of thing for my mom. Whiteboard with chalkboard border and changeable “ornaments” Thanksgiving, Christmas, Birthday so far. I am kind of a deadbeat. I didn’t take a picture of it completed, and I haven’t made any more ornaments.

I’ve been making those boards as well and selling them at a little store downtown. I love interchangeable files!
