Well, you did it now… You had to go and pick it up… I mean it’s just a cube, right?
And then it started to whisper to you… “Resistance… is futile.”
Acrylic cube, painted black and etched. Wrapped with silver Washi paper and stuffed with green flicker LED lights. USB powered.

That’s so cool!!!
Are the lights on a switch, or do they turn on when you pick it up, or something else?

It’s plug in and it’s on. No switches. Maybe in version 2

“Resistance… is futile.”
Perhaps lots of resisters in the design?
A terrific design.

Brilliant! I could see this as a prop in a film.

I pretty much love anything involving LEDs and DIY projects. If you were OK embedding a controller, you could use an FSR (Force Sensitive Resistor) as an on / off / brightness controller.
FSRs are sensors that allow you to detect physical pressure, squeezing and weight. They are simple to use and low cost. This guide will show you how to wire an FSR, connect it to your Arduino, and give you some project ideas.
