Can any one help me identify this font? I have looked through the Glowforge fonts and can’t seem to find one that matches. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
This is a pretty close match
BTW there is a WONDERFUL font ID website called WTF
What The Font
it reminds me of Varsity Font
THANK YOU Macgeek
It’s also possible that image started with a simpler font of just the white inside of the letters. And they added the black outline to create the graphic.
Thank YOU
YES, It is. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH
Maybe so, had not thought of that. Thanks
My first blush was one of the many Varsity fonts as well, but that S bothered me.
I have over a dozen Varsity style fonts and the names do not always have a logical link (like UMAR or EMILIO), so → since I never used the excellent font organizer I have, I did the normal scroll down the list.
I failed to see any of the Varsity style with that double spike on the S but I did find 3 that were very close to what you exhibited.
Note that all my fonts are free fonts (or ones I made). These were not made by me so they should be free out there if you hunt for them. Get the BOLD variant, which is shown below.
Here is the first one - no fill, converted to curves , line thickness at 3 (using Corel).
All three of these fonts I found show that odd width on the U, so they are all probably derived from the same font scheme (like the Varsity variants). I do not know what that would have been though.
edit: Got near the rabbit hole I opened and fell back in. Seems the others are a variant of the Clarendon style. Excellent history lesson on fonts with Clarendon leading the way.
GREAT JOB!!! Brokendrum.
I like the ones in the second batch. Any chance you could share L S U with me in JPEG? Or even better yet provide me a link to them, so I can pick and choose what I want.
I REALLY appreciate you finding them
Have a GREAT Day

Just search Clarendon font with your search engine of choice.
There are so many free font sites, but Dafont and others like it will usually bubble to the top.
As with any font style, there will be many variants, because people seem to like adding their own flourish to printed media. One of them will be the one you want/need.
Thanks, Found and down loaded it. I REALLY appreciate the info.
Have a GREAT day
