I am sorry if you felt like it was an attack, It was not.
It was more of a question for the marketing. Seems that you are not the only person that came to a different conclusion. So in my eyes, that is more of a fail on the marketing, not you.
See, some of us “Logic thinkers” on the forum have a full understanding of the dates, but seems the “emotional thinkers” do not. So I am not blaming the readers, but the publishers for not putting out a clear message.
I hope this does not come off as an attack, as it’s not. If it does, I am sorry again.
It’s worth pointing out that there is some risk. Several Kickstarter companies have failed to deliver, like the drone company that raised $3.4m and then collapsed. Certainly not expecting that to be the case here, but would not classify it as “no risk.”
@kelly, @willcfc, thanks for dropping in to share your thoughts. I’m sorry for the missed expectations; I never feel good when I hear that we miscommunicated to someone. I hope you still want your Glowforge, but if not, say the word and we’ll take care of a refund right away.
