I just had training with other applications where line thickness did affect the meaning/interpretation of the lines… so just sticks in my head that way.

Yeah, it’s a different world. (And a fun one!)
That was the only reason I said anything at all. I see a lot of designs that people use .2 PT line widths for cuts. It’s not wrong, but with this tool is not necessary.
I use .08” so that I can more closely simulate the kerf, especially useful on designs with small, intricate pieces.
as of a week ago, for at least AI files, it was still there. At least for me it was.
