Made a nice plaque for my Brother In-Law. Measures about 18" X 12" using medium walnut proofgrade, 1/4" sanded plywood backer, 5/8" square dowels “stained” for frame & decorative corner brackets to hide the connecting corners & give eye appeal.
Looks good! I like the brackets on it.
Thank You Jules
Do those wrap around the sides?
Yes they do but they don’t cover the entire 5/8" side.
Nice work on a great inspiration. Deeper meaning for me being left-handed.
I’ve been thinking about doing a similar sign of a quote from Churchill "If you are going through hell - Keep going".
My sister’s a leftie too…something like that might work for her. (She’s hard to buy for.)
This pattern came from Steve Good @ Scrollsaw Workshop. All his patterns are free & you can donate.
Beautiful work, absolutely love it
Thank You & have a great rest of the week-end.
Truly love Churchill’s quote. Thank You
Hilarious!!
Love the frame, and the quote.
I bought a disc with his designs last year. Maybe it’s time for me to look at it.
Yes take a look at his designs. I really love most of them. Some you can only cut with a scroll saw but many are easily cut or engraved with a laser.
