I bought some clear acrylic from amazon and when I engrave it it doesn’t become white like the profegrade acrylic that came with the machine is there a few types of acrylic and if there is where can I buy it it’s sold out from glowforge

Two different kinds of acrylic…cast acrylic (like the Proofgrade) gets white when you laser it.
Extruded acrylic doesn’t. Make sure you are getting cast acrylic if you want that effect.
