I just wanted to share that about a year ago I quit my job in corporate America to pursue my dream of having a home business which included the use of my 2 GF machines that I received roughly about a year ago as well. A LOT has happened and business has grown steadily in several markets I have targeted in the last year, enough to replace the salary that I had in corporate America… and I have BARELY scratched the surface in each market I am making products for.
One of the markets I really wanted to get into was the fishing market, primarily bass fishing because I am a bass tournment angler and fishing is my #1 passion (working on the GF is a VERY close 2nd). Out of nowhere, a bass angler friend came to me with a product idea for the GFs that I didn’t think would sell well in the market, but I was willing to partner up with him and try his idea out. Lo and behold, one of the first customers we aquired is Daiwa (#1 fishing rod, reel and tackle manufacturer in the world)… and not only did they put in a decent first order, they want to exclusively use us to supply them with product… all made on the Glowforge! Now I have several big companies and consumers all coming to me with orders… so much that I have a 3 month waiting list!!! AND THIS IS JUST ONE MARKET that I am working on… I have several more I am selling to and have barely scratched the surface in THOSE markets… and yes, I do find time to sleep…barely… LOL.
I bet you want to know what the products are… don’t get TOO excited, but I am having a blast at custom designing these…
