My wife and I made a little model of Ratty’s boat with Mole for a Wind in the Willows themed picnic. I waxed the outside and applied a few layers of wood glue on the inside and it was remarkably water tight.
Awww, this is so adorable! The pictures are perfect!!
Oh ma goodness! That is incredible! Did you or your wife crochet/knit the little figures too?
(I’m not sure I would be brave enough to float it, but the boat is perfect for it.)
Love it! What a cute boat!! And critters too!
My wife knitted the Mole and Ratty figures (and the rat’s jumper).
That must have been a fun picnic.
What a neat idea. The boat is fantastic along with the cute little critters.
That is adorable!! When i went to visit my granddaughters about 3 years ago, we made a boat and we had looked and it appears it’s possible to run into Missouri:-) from Idaho. So we set it to sail. Now, i had also made another one just like it while we were ‘building’. So, when they came home, we went to a local creek and my husband launched the boat. They were so excited! We had ‘calculated’ how many days it should take to reach me, so, of course it was spot on
Oh, how cute this is!
Very cute!
Cute!
So stinkin’ cute!!! Oh my goodness!!! Love these!
Love the boat, love your little friends and really love your creativity!!!
Lovely. Made a boat with the
time to scale up.
