Wood and acrylic birthday card

Happy with how my little birthday card turned out. Gotta figure out how to mail it now

I like that. (You can just wrap cardboard around it and put enough postage.)

Is the black painted wood? The texture is really cool looking, especially paired with the smoothness of the acrylic. Really awesome project, the recipient is gonna be so happy I bet.

Thanks. The black is matte acrylic and probably my favorite material to work with.

I get mine at Tap plastic. I love the matte stuff becasue it doesn’t show all the fingerprints etc of the regular stuff and it has a beautiful feel too. I get it in white, black and a “frosted”/matte clear as well. Looks like Inventables carries it if there’s no Tap near you.

Very nicely done. I think a bubble lined envelope in side a postal box would work.
