Found these neat half-marble, half-wood coasters at Target. Sort of lends itself to this design, I thought. I like the way it turned out!

I could see that with the marble showing a reflection of whatever scene you put on the wood like a nice calm lake would.

That is the way I see it…although surrealistic. So the lake is reflecting a peaceful forest as the alter-ego of the majestic mountains.

Nice. What glue did you use to glue them together?
I bought them that way- $10 at Target for 4 of them. Search Threshold coasters on target.com, they actually have several types that are perfect for Glowforging
