My kindergartener wanted this thing he plays with at school, which has pins and rubberbands. Similar to something I made by hand with string and nails in the past for a gift for my wife… but now I’m thinking of using this concept to make a more organized nail string art…

That’s fun! Great, I didn’t know I needed one of those…I do now. 
It is pretty fun, I have played with it too.
If i had more time I would make multiple full boards with puzzle piece ends to interlock them, and make a “bed of nails” to lay down on. If you do it post a picture!
