I believe it is ‘12” x 20” x 1.5"’

@makerblock is right, but you have to remove the honeycomb tray to get the whole 1.5" height. The full specs can be found at http://glowforge.com/tech-specs/
Also, for the Pro, the slot is made to take 1/4" material (http://community.glowforge.com/t/pass-through-slot-gf-workbench-mounting/297/3).
