Couldn’t imagine what an EOD guy would need a lighter for? 
Any chance you remember the settings you used? I have a black matte Zippo lighter shell that I would like to do in a similar fashion. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Dry moly lube works well…I used 3 coats…let dry in between each. I believed I used full power and slower speed…2-3 passes
