As discussed here, I’m doing a challenge of designing something new each day for 30 days (30 Days of Design Challenge )
Here is the design I made for day 17. I made a weird looking box. I’m not crazy about this design. Now that I’ve made it, there’s lots I would change. But I need to move on to the next design. I did not say in the Design Challenge that it had to be 30 days of designs “that I like”.
Well I like it. You’ve been thinking outside the box

I like this one a lot.
I’d like it better without the little slots in the ‘inner’ box, but this is a fantastic build. Tons of potential with different materials and such. (The file would sell well I suspect. winkwinknudgenudge)

It does remind me of a square globe though. Fun technique work, which is the point, right? 
I actually like it a lot! It’s sort of a mix of practical/industrial with whimsical. I’d like to see more of these!
