It is almost time for the best thing Ronald Reagan did in office again. Next Sunday (7/19/26) is National Ice Cream Day again. And once again, my friends and I will be making the rounds of 10 different ice cream shoppes in 1 day. This year, we are going with all Local establishments, to help a mom and pop shoppe out. And once again, if people can make it to at least 6 of the stops with us, they will win the prize.(6 stops, 7th year, there has to be a meme in there somewhere) This year, it will be heavy black anodized business cards. (about 85mm x 55mm)
Here is the file if you want to play along in your town. Unfortunately, the NationAliceCreamShoppe graphic for the left area of the card was made with GF Magic Canvas, so it didn’t export. But you can put in any ice cream clip art there. I will upload a pic of the finished product. The score outline is just a very loose “jig” for lining up the cards. Not an actual jig, as I will line things up visually. My camera isn’t too bad. So if you use it, it should be to score. If not, just ignore it. Then line up the rest of it and it should be good.
Even if you can’t be an “abomination” like us, you should at least treat yourself to some ice cream next weekend. Photos of our debauchery will be added here as well.
We had so much fun doing this here last year! Unfortunately this year we’re going to be driving back from camping that day so we might hit one, but 10 is right out!
I love hearing your ice cream adventures! Unfortunately, we’d have to drive for hours to hit that many ice cream shops in one day, and I can’t afford either the fuel or the added weight! So I’ll eat my ice cream vicariously through you!
