So, it finally happened…after almost 5 years… there was a small fire.
It happened right at the end of a ~45 second acrylic cut that damaged my lid camera. Luckily, we stay close to the unit, so the fire didn’t get out of control. Almost comical that we watched it cut; only to have a fire develop after the fans all spooled down. With that said here’s a longshot: GF does not sell a replacement camera although it seems to just be taped into place.
TLDR: Is anyone “parting out” a GF, shattered their lid, or otherwise is getting rid of a broken unit that wouldn’t mind selling me their lid camera?
