The Glowforge app seems to be down - page not responding errors.
Ignore the BS from people saying clear your cache, its your issue at your end.
It clearly isn’t as so many people are experiencing the same issues. The app is not refreshing, designs aren’t being uploaded, the dashboard isn’t responding, everything crashes.
GLOWFORGE WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT THIS?
This keeps happening on your cloud based software. It isn’t good enough.
It may be working for you, but it isn’t working for a lot of people. I am also based in the UK, which seems to be an issue with Glowforge related products.
Also it depends on what you are engraving, my artwork is completely different to most peoples. If you are only engraving one design then the app refresh speed isn’t going to make any difference to your design. I am engraving 50 pens at a time, so the design has to be centred correctly on each product. The app is very slow and glitching when trying to centre the designs, I am receiving errors ‘Page not loading’ ‘Page not responding’ and so on. This happened several months ago, Glowforge reset something at there end and then it worked fine.
I’m glad it works fine for you, but I do hope you experience it as then you will understand my frustrations and many others.
I totally understand your frustration. I have experienced the app lagging, but it has always resolved when I changed browsers. I am in several Glowforge user groups and have not seen any recent problems reported that affected lots of people so that is why I referenced the Glowforge Status Page. When the servers are down, or there is a widespread outage, the status page reports the issue. Since Glowforge fixed the problem before, I hope they can resolve it again.
Nope still not resolved. Cleare browsing data and cache, tried all sorts of browsers and still not working. I have had these issues before over the years. I have even tried a brand new laptop straight out of the box, still the same issue. I am using an ethernet connection 546mbs so it isn’t my internet speed like they suggested. I work in IT and know lots about computer systems, I have screen shot every process to there lame answers and strangely enough I haven’t received a response.
I am based in the UK, All of the Glowforge suppliers in the UK have stopped selling them, I wonder why that is….
